President of Uzbekistan awards group of teachers and tutors
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On awarding a group of employees of the education sector in connection with the Day of Teachers and Tutors” on 29 September 2015.
Group of citizens received honourable titled of People’s Teacher, Honored worker of public education, Honored teacher of youth, and Honored coach for their contribution to raising intellectual and spiritual potential of Uzbekistan, upbringing harmonically developed youth, achievements in education sector, etc.
International conference entitled “Transparency in the activities of government and management bodies as an important guarantee in securing the constitutional right of citizens for information: the practice of Uzbekistan” has taken place in Samarkand.
The conference was organized by the Public Fund for the Support and Development of Independent Print Media and Information Agencies of Uzbekistan in cooperation with corresponding ministries and other government agencies, UNESCO Office in the country, the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan. The event was attended by members of the Senate and Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis, heads of information services of government bodies, specialists of civil society institutions, representatives of offices of international organizations in the country, experts from Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Estonia, Greece, Finland, as well as mass media.

The National Air Company of Uzbekistan flies to more than 40 countries

Uzbekistan can launch production of MAN buses
Uzbekistan can organize an assembly production of city passenger buses of MAN with engine, working on compressed natural gas (CNG).
According to the press service of Uzavtosanoat, soon three buses with CNG engine can be assembled at the MAN Auto – Uzbekistan plant in Samarkand.
Currently, low floor city passenger bus MAN Lion’s City CNG, working on compressed natural gas, is undergoing testing in Tashkent. The bus was produced at the plant of MAN (Germany) in Malaysia.
The bus will undergo testing within nine months in city conditions and the specialists will gave their conclusion on the vehicle.
